Is Google Page Rank Update Delayed?

Link Building
We all know some of the blackhat techniques which Google has specifically identified. And it seems like the whitehat techniques are focusing on natural linking… And anything that has to do with asking for a link is now known as grayhat… Grayhat (which I have just defined myself) is a technique which is not bluffing anybody… In fact, they are building links through link exchanges, buying links, selling links, and even participating in a community such as blogs or forums where the links are shown… All these links seem so much more on the gray spot than to be defined as good technique or bad technique…
Grayhat defeating the idea of Page Rank?
It seems like Google is rethinking about distributing page rankings for all the websites. With the past three months of uncertain meanings of linking when John Chow don’t rank first for his own name when his page rank is 6, it seems like Google is taking this matter seriously. Text Link Ads don’t seem to favor for pagerank idea since we can pay for linking… ReviewMe seems to be yet another idea going against pagerank where we can get our reviews on our favorite blogs by paying the bloggers. PayPerPost is yet another way of sponsoring for writing about certain thing. Are paying for link means voting?
Everything starts with a good reason
Trust me… Every business starts with a good reason. Page Rank is a voting system for the good reason! But then, every good reason can find its bad side… Everything on earth has two sides anyway… So while the bad side could be something we only found out when somebody took advantage of it…
And I think it has become a topic by itself… Just check it out about what other bloggers have to say…
Page rank used to be updated around once a month. Then it changed to once a quarter. Many seo experts now think it will be every 6 months.
Is this good or bad? For a webmaster who has a high pr site it is very good as they will be able to sell links for a longer period. If you have a new site it can be very frustrating as you wait to see if your link and seo efforts have been rewarded.
Google are attempting to do away with paid links and are no doubt hoping that by only updating twice a year will damage the market. With a lot of people buying on a month by month basis this could actually work.
Another idea is that page rank could be replaced by a trust rank toolbar.
This would be a great idea in my opinion.
