Social media has been a phenomenon since 2007. It brings in the true two-way communication between the websites and their visitors. That's what Web 2.0 is all about. I aim to review what the world has become, and to give you my opinions and choices.

A New Blog Makeover For Charles Lau dot Com?

John Cow was mentioning about a blog designer is handpicking a blog to do a whole new blog makeover. I have been thinking of getting rid of this generic mistylook theme for quite some time already but I just ain’t good at blog designing. I have been thinking of changing my banner for quite a while after CashQuests Review about me. Alvin Huang further elaborated about my banner too which made my thoughts start to think about it…. Eventually, I had my banner changed when Etienne Teo recommended a designer for me which I had it changed finally.

About My Banner

It was really a quick image I had done when I was looking for a personal branding for my blog. Eventually, it became a blog about reviewing other people’s work such as their websites, software and books.

This Blog Needs Some Face Lifting
As I blogged longer, I realize that my blog needs some changes to attract advertisers to advertise on this blog. I started to have people approaching me for advertising. And I wanted to provide those 140×140 buttons for advertising. I am also looking into providing some functions in relation with videos, reviews, tools and recommendations from my reviews.

In fact, this blog needs to move to the next level of interface where I can provide better reviews in a more attractive design. This MistyLook theme is getting out of the way which is now unable to cater to my needs. Nothing too special change that I need, maybe something similar to John Cow’s blog is all I need…

And while I am on a lookout for a sales job to bring in cold cash, I just hope the guys at Weborithm choose my blog as their next blog design job in this blog makeover contest. Please let me know via email if I have won as I might be busy working outside…
