This is a true effective time management being defined by Gaman in his post. I was captivated by this sentence:

“Effective time management is really about accomplishing more by working less, not doing more in less time . Ultimately this will lead to a more balance life by enabling you find the time on all the important areas of your life.”

In my life, I want to accomplish my goal of earning money freely, and loving my wife freely, and building up my very own family freely! These three areas are the most important focuses in my life. And to do that, I have put a lot of focus in the three of them to make sure my life is complete with them around… I want my future wife to live happily with me (I hope my girlfriend is looking at this post… haha)

Time management for Better Productivity

• According to Gaman, we should improve our productivity in every area of our lives. By improving our productivity, it doesn’t mean to do more in less time… That doesn’t work at all! This is about effective time management here… We can accomplish more productivity by working less!
• When I compare the number of posts I have been doing daily with Desi Baba posting only one a day, I can see how much productivity difference I have with him at the end of the day. It might probably because I am still new working on my blog when his is already many months old.
• Look for that one thing that you do very well, and focus on it! Outsource everything else away… And you shall work only 4 hours every week! See this book review of The 4 Hour WorkWeek to understand more…

How to do many things in life?
I often told my girlfriend this analogy. “Darling, did you know that because we can work on one thing very well, we indirectly know how to cook all the best food in life, how to build our own house, our own computer, our own car, our own watch and everything? That’s because we focus on one thing very sharply and make all the money to do all the things that we want but we don’t want to do it ourselves!” She was really surprised by this analogy and started to focus on what she is good at which is graphic design…

We don’t have to know so many things in life… In fact, money has made it clear that

• we can spend more money to buy more time…
• But many people tend to spend more time to buy more money…

I often think time is so precious to each and everyone of us.

• We all have limited years on earth… The most we can live is around 140 years old…
• Money is the only thing that allows our time spent wisely… We can get all the quality things in life without having to spend time working for them… And to spend time working for them, we don’t have all the time left for living our life to the max!

What Is Your Reason For Living On Earth?

• While many of us tend to focus on fulfilling the company’s goals, fulfilling our surrounding friends and family’s promise, living day after day thinking only what to do for the day…
• Often those who worked for long hours for other people, their focus of time has been with making money. And when they have free time, they only think of how to waste them away watching television or sleeping to prepare for the next battle of time spending!
• In fact, I know of many rich businessmen’s main focus of becoming rich is to spend more time with their families… During a typical weekday in the day, you will tend to see rich families at home together while the poor are already working out there since 7am!
• Start building a goal or a vision of your life as your reason for living on earth now! Don’t build a goal too easily reached, nor too far… Attach your vision with a “million dollar in your bank account” is useful…

“Excuses for being poor” as Your Reasons
I can almost hear all the excuses from many people for not being able to be rich… They tend to blame up down left right, but not themselves… They wouldn’t want to take the responsibility for their poor to start taking action!

Everybody should aim to be a millionaire at least
To reach our million dollar goal, it looks really far… But it is not that far actually… Just imagine this… It is only 1000 pieces of $1000 notes… Every month when you are working for others, how many pieces of $1000 notes have you received? Try to aim for more by working on a business, and doing some investments outside… That should help in making your dream come true…

Conclusion
Start something today… It is never easy to work on anything new, especially when you are in the new industry… Don’t stop till you see yourself making money… Even if you think it is not working, think about why you are starting it in the first place… Keep doing it!

However, you may stop if you are already making money and you find yourself not making more money than you expected and you know that it is not feasible…
