Another Way of Naming A Domain To Represent Your Affiliate Link
Jul 10th, 2008 by Charles
This time round, I found this affiliate spoof domain at his Marketing Product Review pdf which looked like this:

Did you notice that the url is www-viralinviter.com? When I check the whois information, it looks like this:

Another way of learning how to name our affiliate links…
The whole idea was meant to be good definitely. Mike Filsaime is an affiliate, promoting this fantastic product to all of us. In fact, I have bought this viral inviter myself from Mike Filsaime.
But of course, we must always remember of not making a mis-representation of the seller to the potential buyers. That’s because if the affiliate has made a misrepresentation, and this caused the reputation of the seller, it may not be a good thing.
And in Mike Filsaime’s case, he has made it clear that this marketing review is purely driven by affiliate sales in order to sustain the business. It sounds good to me. And he has made an effort of buying a domain just for the seller.
And by the way, I have subscribed to Mike Filsaime’s new magazine. They are quite interesting to read. But… I think he has sent me two copies in separate envelopes by accident… Please remember not to over-charge me for the error! :) Thank you!

We will only charge you once.
Can you please email me your email address so i can make sure we
only send out 1
Keep up the good work!
Mike
