Another Business Friend Coming Out To Do On His Own

A business friend just called me, telling me the same thing I told him three months ago. I told him that I have left my present company and am now working on a new business myself again. And three months later, he is telling me the same thing too. The only difference the two of us have is that he is going to spend quite a lot of money on taking over an office, doing a totally different business from me. He is an accountant by profession.

It’s nothing new about coming in and out of business. He faced the same problem as me… We had partnership problem in our own business. Striving out afresh is nothing new… But it is more of the stamina to go through right from scratch again that is going to add burden… And I guess he is already 30 plus… I think he is going to do it great!

Of all the business, I think Internet business is more personal and more easily spread to the mass if you know how to. People love to do business with friends, not strangers… By being personal, you are bringing yourself a step to become a friend of the community. I am glad to make more and more friends online. They are all very helpful and we are helping one another.

Beware! Internet business can be really busy and make you work almost 24 hours! That’s what happen to me… My working time is almost corrupted… I don’t have a fix timing to work… I work all day long, and I almost neglected my girlfriend because of it… That’s because internet is so accessible with a laptop and business is just beside me.. How can I bear to stop? I hope my girlfriend is not jealous of me accompanying my business more than her… :)

Physical business is not that bad… That’s because when things are done, you are almost left with nothing to work with but to wait for results… Physical business is much slower in seeing results and need a lot of patience working on it. And that’s also why physical business tend to make an entrepreneur more systematic… while Internet business I have to time myself when to work or play.

The learning curve for Internet business is tremendously steeper than physical business! Physical business is more conventional in the things to work on… When you need a transport for your goods, you call for a service… But when you need an ebook from a person to sell, you can do it by email, file transfer, web download, etc…

Seriously, the feeling of working on your own or working on a partnership is almost the same to me. It’s not about someone who is able to accompany you all the way while you are working… It is about working on a business itself… With or without partner, we still have to work hard to get the whole thing done. The process is almost the same…

Have you considered working on your own in a business?
