I was excited when Mr K.C. Tan first asked me for a review of his ebook titled “The Essential Guide For Forum Entrepreneurs“. Mr Tan has a Make Money Online blog himself which he is writing about how to make money online through his internet career. It seems like he has got lots of experience to share about himself with regards to his life on the internet. He is a Web Application Developer, as well as an Internet entrepreneur who knows a lot about search engine optimizations. And with his experience in forums, he found a niche himself in writing a guide for all of us who wish to penetrate our businesses into the forum market

A Short Interview With The Author
Can you tell me more about yourself?
I started off as a online Game Developer for the game Absolute III three years ago and found out that I am really interested in Internet Marketing as this area has a great potential. I begin with SEO and created the site useseo.com to help the new Webmasters to focus on their SEO effort. I then go on to create sites to generate passive income. Now, I am still continue to build websites and flip them for greater profits. Hence, in this eBook, readers will also find a bonus teaching them how to sell a new site successfully.

How you derive to write this book?
My inspiration comes when many forum members do not know what and how to go about branding themselves in the forums.. especially when they want to do business with the forum members. A lot of posts created dies off eventually due to some of the common reasons like lacking of benefits or ‘poison’ title. The need to have a book to help the forum members to start off their thread right motivates me to write this book.

Probably tell me some experience for your credentials in this book?
I joined DP and other major forums since 2005 and has helped several Webmasters in fixing their problems from codes, SEO to design and better selling. I have also created the first and only FAQ on Google SEO in DigitalPoint and has managed to help many new Webmasters in grasping the concepts.

If possible, do tell us what so crispy about your book?
There are some things that I would prefer to be emphasized, the correct forum ethics so as to earn the right way, the real examples in the book where it shows how other members generate easy money by selling forum signatures, other people’s testimonials on my eBook and the bonus on selling new websites

When I first saw the title of this book, I was wondering if this person is going to teach me how to build a forum. But as I read further, I realize I have misunderstood the meaning of “forum entrepreneur”. This book actually teaches us how to succeed in forums around the world! Basically, we are reading and posting our views on forums. Sometimes, I have been thinking how to make myself stand out uniquely from the rest in the forum. Where others might be so good in leading the crowd in the forums, what I can do is to by envy and follow as well. That’s because when I follow the crowd, I eventually become part of the crowd which makes me part of the “team” in the forum.

Discovering the Secrets of Participating in Forums
As I read this book further, I began to realize the secrets of participating inside a forum successfully. Though it is all theory to me only, I will only know when I start to implement it. Anyway, they sound so logical to me why it works this way. Nobody told me about such things before! And I guess those people who have been enjoying enough celebrity kind of exposure in the forums, wouldn’t want to disclose why I can’t do the same like them. Now, it seems like I can do the same… Haha!

What so interesting about this book?
What makes this book even more interesting is that it even teaches me practically how to make money in the forum with a few examples happening right now. Questions like how much money you can make for enjoying yourself in the forum? How to look for buyers to pay me for chatting in the forum? How to avoid the scams? How to build a reputation of yourself in the forum? I don’t think you will get to see them anywhere in the public!

Forum Marketing is another form of Internet Marketing
While many Internet Marketers are teaching you how to blog, how to do PPC campaigns, how to do affiliate marketing and probably how to start your first website, Mr Tan is now teaching us how to market ourselves in the huge level of participation which is so much more practical if you want to talk about being “tangible” in the intangible world of Internet. Forum is where we can see, “touch” and feel the participation from the many people around the world! But for all other forms of Internet marketing, it is almost invisible to us… Such as the new bloggers blogging like nobody’s business but in actual fact, there’s really nobody reading their blogs right now.

A Very Good Start For Newbies
How much can a $30 note help you in making sure you have not lost a lot of time trying to find out how forum really works? This ebook costs only $30 where it gives you the tips straight to the point with 43 pages… There are no beatings-around-the-bush in the book so that we can save our time to read just the things that we need. In fact, I took the initiative to read it twice about certain things. I wouldn’t want to read a book for two times which is full of sales pitch and yet it contains great contents in-between… It gives me a better idea about the common netiquette in the forum; Just imagine I have to spend lots of my time trying to understand the kind of communication frequency in the forum when nobody actually tells me that I am wrong… For example, why the thread you started doesn’t invite enough crowd while others are doing well? Why your listing in forum is not selling? So how to make it all working?

In fact, this book probably could become a viral ebook used in forums to capture the market while the new forum members are trying their best to enjoy themselves in their stay in the forums!
