Can CPanel be more efficient in addon domains?

by Charles on 18 July 2007

After trying to add addon domains in my CPanel, it still doesn’t work with errors in adding. I have no choice but to ask BlueHost to help me to add… One chat request after another… I managed to get my addon domains done only through the Live Chat… My tickets are left unanswered for quite some time… I attempted to go through Live Chat and ask them to help me do more than 20 addon domains! I was rejected and was asked to do a ticket sending for request…

I wonder if Blue Host guys are overloaded with work that they must have missed my ticket… I hope they are looking into it soon… :( Can CPanel be more efficient?? I have to trouble those guys to help me add domains manually because of CPanel problems!

  • I only managed to add the first addon domain successfully... But the rest are not successful...

Changing the nameserver entries is easy.

Adding a new addon domain always gives me error when it states that my dns servers are not correct when they are actually correct...

Maybe I have set something wrong somewhere.. I am not sure..
  • You should not be receiving errors merely for adding an add-on domain. The next time you encounter this, perhaps you may want to recommend that BlueHost contact cPanel, Inc.'s support team directly to resolve the issue.

The way the software functions in a normal environment is when you have filled out the page with information related to your add-on domain, path to store the files etc., you click the button to apply the settings and the most you may need to do is update your registrar's Nameserver entries to point to that cPanel/WHM server's Nameservers.
