I just bought Adii’s design from Unique Blog Designs. The design looks really good. I took the plunge and dive into converting my blog’s theme. Never did I realize that this blog theme seem to have problem with WordPress 2.2.1. I have not been upgrading my WordPress version for quite some time because I am pretty satisfied with the current WordPress and wouldn’t want to ruin the settings because I have never upgraded my WordPress version before.
It is quite painful in the process of upgrading my blog. Most of the settings have matured and blended together with the blog contents. When I first installed the theme into my blog, I found myself having trouble with the php errors. I had already set in the theme that my wordpress is 2.2.1. But my blog is simply not working.
I took the chance and upgrade my WordPress version to 2.3.2. I never knew the upgrading process is so simple! What have I been doing with my old version? 
I managed to upgrade it properly. After that, I tried using the theme again. Finally, something is working. However, I found myself having trouble with this theme usage. And I even found an even bigger error! The wordpress kept on prompting me to upgrade to the latest version.
It says “A new version of WordPress is available! Please update now.” on top. But I already have the most upgraded version.
And it also says “Your wordpress array is out of date” at the bottom. What’s wrong with this?
I tried to google these two things online and found them to have no solutions about it. The two suggested solutions are here and there.
I found them to have no linkage to what I am looking for. I tried to restore to the original theme and everything went back to normal…
I decided to give it a try again tomorrow. Check out the new theme of Charles Lau dot Com pretty soon!
