Don’t Blame Twitter, Blame Scoble!

Everybody follows Scoble. Scoble follows everybody as well. I had asked Scoble how he managed to handle so many followers. He replied that he has answered that many times in Qik videos. Just like myself, I guess many people are infected with the curious virus of handling so many followers while he kept on increasing his twitter posts and followers… Now, everybody blames Scoble for the Twitter problem, not ruby.

Just a Joke
It’s just a fun post to talk about Scoble who might have caused Twitter to be unstable since he is probably the only one who has the highest number of followers and people he followed. There is even a new twitter account talking about it with its new website to Blame it On Scoble.

I am now a Twitter Addict
I have been using twitter for a while now. I started with an account there because I have been hearing people talking about it. But I left it there as a white elephant for quite some time. I don’t know how to use it in the past. I get frequent sms reminders on my mobile phone to twitter something there. Sometimes, I find it annoying though it probably costs them money to message me. I started to twitter through sms on my mobile phone. It costs me a few dollars in my bill at the end of the day. So I stopped.

Until recently I just thought of writing my thoughts about reviews, what I am doing, and to spread some of the things that are happening around the Internet. Everything just came nicely when I have just gotten my N95 on my birthday in January. I twitter on Twibble in my N95, I also twitter on Fring on N95. I twitter on twhirl on my PC. I also twiter directly on Twitter website. FriendFeed not to be missed too.

Twitter has been quite unstable recently
Every now and then, I get to see my post not sent. Sometimes, I might even see twitter down without notice. Or else, I will get a lot of status updates from Twitter. They seem to be so unstable over the past few weeks. And because of all these updates, I get to know about Google Group about Twitter Development Talk. There are lots of updates about the Twitter right over there. It comes so often that they have a Twitter Status site for it.

It can be irritating to see which features are currently disabled while we are using Twitter. Though it seems that I am not affected by it, it gives me an impression that they are no good.

Blame it on Scoble!
Well, we all know it’s just a joke. I love Scoble for his updates which are beneficial to us. Everybody just follows Scoble naturally. It’s simply because he’s good! And because of the huge network he has, he is simply bringing twitter to the next level of stabilizing the whole twitter system.

With almost 26,000 followers while he is only following slightly more than 21,000 people, we can all imagine the kind of server workload behind just for him. Furthermore, Twitter has to take care of all the rest of the users as well who might be on the rise because of their popularity.

PS I love Scoble! I wouldn’t blame you.
