Google Adwords New Pricing Model: Pay-Per-Action

Pay-per-action (PPA) advertising is a new pricing model that allows advertisers to pay only when specific actions that they define are completed by a user on their site. Rather than paying for clicks or impressions, advertisers can choose to pay when a user makes a purchase, signs up for a newsletter, or completes any other clearly defined action that they choose.

It’s very obvious here that Google is going to compete with the Affiliate Programs around the world which have been dominating for many years… In fact, they have already launched this thing in March in beta for USA. But today, they have launched worldwide for everyone of us to use. As like other affiliate programs, PPA will allow publishers like us to choose which advertisements are suitable for us.

Advertisers who used AdWords conversion tracking and received more than 500 conversions from their cost-per-click (CPC) or cost-per-thousand-impression (CPM) in the recent 30 days, will be invited to join this beta test… These people will see an alert in their account for their invitation…

If any of you got the chance to use it, please do let me know here ok? Thank you!
