How do we know if this person is going to do business well?

After blogging for about two months plus, I am starting to see myself stuck in a level of making real money online. While struggling to see how to make money online, I start to realize the difference between the people who are going to fail in an internet business, and others who simply got the flair to carry on doing business making real money! It is all about our determination actually… I am struggling to make it through…

As I move on to see what I can do to do an internet business, I am starting to understand why there’s a lot of bloggers out there advising people to retain their jobs while working online. Working online is really all about going through the process of understanding the mechanics of internet business… Each time I face a problem, I start to think how to go through this problem… I start to do all sorts of things to get my way through.

Sales is a must to do for every business. No sales, no money… No money, no business… As I do blogging more, I start to see that my content is the actual product to sell… But it is not as attractive as the other bloggers right now who are so innovative in their thoughts and are seasoned players in this field… I have to break through… And I finally start to look out for products which people really want to buy… And get all the products to sell!

I am starting to see some results over here, but this is just the initial stage… I have to get through this stage to make a living off the Internet… It’s all about products now…

Hi Charles,

I guess its a matter of the business model that you are adopting for making money online. As you mentioned yourself, your only product is your content and probably the affiliate commissions for products that you might be recommending. And your content is being compared to the big guns of those who are into "Making Money Online" with their blogs that have alot of traffic. I think its rather hard to stand out unless you position yourself as an authority figure (leader) in a particular niche in the IM field. With which then you can develop your own product to sell and promote.

Alternatively you can use the online marketing strategies that you know in another niche to generate some passive income for you on the sideline while you continue with your efforts here. For myself, I blog at www.alvinhuang.com but its not to make any money at all. But merely to build my own brand. On the sideline I have other niche websites that generate the income I need.
