Obviously, the web is here to stay. I may sometimes hear people saying that they don’t believe in web
Something I just cannot reconcile with myself. If they don’t believe, why are they doing the following things:
- Checking emails
- Googling for information that they need.
- Sending emails
- Some having their own account with facebook/friendster/myspace/orkut
- etc etc etc
People who don’t believe much about online, are being online customers to the websites. That’s what our websites are for here anyway!
When I met KC on a Sunday, he reminded me of the days when I was so busy trying to establish myself in a business. Chatting with him, it made me realise how much Internet is now catching on to the people. I can see the quiet giant slowly awakens, but he still shys away because he had burnt his fingers back in 1997 Internet bubble burst.
Whether this Internet rush is here or not, it doesn’t matter to me because I know of many people who belong to the category I described at the beginning. Nevertheless, many people recognise the power of facebook. Some resisted the idea of Internet business. We’ll see about that!
