I was asking my supplier for a particular product that my client needs last Wednesday. He took so long to reply me… Only when I prompt him further, that he finally replies me on Friday… Partially, it’s because Thursday is a holiday and so all of us are not working on this day. Because of his late reply, I have to tell my client that I have no stock for this product. It turned out that my client undercut me, and approached my supplier accidentally…
My supplier contacted me because of this duplicated request. Obviously, he wanted me to get this deal so that my company can give them more business… He is smart enough to give us the pricing he has given to the client, and gave us an advantage to continue serving our customer.
This supplier even did something further by forwarding to us an email which his boss doesn’t mind about this arrangement, but this product is not performing well in sales so they can’t do this every time… He is obviously showing us something to make us happy…
This simple scenario is showing us that we are all one big family. If you have a stingy mindset wanting everything to yourself, it is very hard to make long term money. Wanting to take everything to yourself or being to stingy on your money, life will just be very hard on you..
