My Learning Curve In Internet World

For the past two months, I have started to understand even more about blogging. As I was doing some testing with this blog and some others, I start to see a pattern there… It is not about how many posts you blog for sure… It is about the blog frequency. I am sure many bloggers out there already know about blog frequency. On top of that, I am starting to understand the meaning of blog voice!

Blog Echo Voice
Well, before I started blogging I thought I know what Blog Voice means. After I have worked for a while, concentrating fully onto the blog development, I see a different picture of blog voice.

Yes, blog voice means the kind of tone we are talking on the blog. As far as I am looking back at my past posts, my blog seems to portray a positive voice… A blogger who is very positive in his life! And yes you are right!

But on top of that, there is this invisible voice that separates the winners out from the rest of the blogs! It is called the blog’s echo voice! This voice is so much more important than just the blogger’s personal voice. When we blog something, there is an echo out there from someone else’s blog about you!

Normally, you will link to a particular blog’s post and talk about that link as part of your own overall article. But try focusing yourself on blogging your blog in such a way that people are linking to your main blog site! For example, Mr John Chow’s blog is the perfect example which I am now talking about. And all the recent amateurs who made a who-huh in the blogging world…

CopyCats
While I am working on a few projects along the way, I start to see some bloggers (small individuals as well as the big organizations) seem to be doing the same thing as me. That’s to say that my marketing plan is working. But if i am not doing it properly, a lot of copycats tend to be the ones who claim as the inventors.

As you know, I am bringing this blog into a maturity stage where I am working on at least one post a day (to around 5 posts if I got over-excited about something) so that I can focus myself on the other projects which will be notified from this blog pretty soon.

Online Marketing
This has become my favorite topic when I have just branded this around my name. My background has been with doing business (4 years) and studying IT (diploma 3 years). It has brought to my attention of how the Internet will evolve into. I used to buy a lot of domain names back in 1998, and I am foreseeing how the Internet is going to bring the business into the next level. But somehow, knowing technical skills don’t seem to help a lot in the marketing skills!

The Two Worlds of Online Marketing!
I start to see Internet being segmented into two worlds of online marketing. One world talks about affiliate marketing and how to make lots of money out of it. Another world is talking about creating your own product and market it out.

Interestingly, there’s one self-proclaimed “super affiliate” who actually believes more about creating your own product than to be a full-time affiliate…

These two worlds can almost never understand the other’s market potential, especially the product creator! The affiliate knows at least about the potential of selling his own product, but might not like the idea of product creation! Whereas the product creator has almost no idea about how the affiliate marketing works, but to create their product and see if it fits the market!

Make Money Online Marketing
There is this group of people who specializes in marketing to people who wants to make money… And in return, teaches them how to make money by selling to other people about the idea of making money. While they might not have the experience or success in their internet marketing, they know the technical know-how and just want to sell the idea of how to make money online.

This market is still very big but of course over-crowded with so many affiliates! Remember that there is only one Google? And you are actually competing with so many competitors in the search terms.

Instead of teaching people how to make money, I am focusing on my favorite topic about marketing! Somehow, it is also telling people how to make money eventually if their marketing techniques work. But I would say that marketing is always on the exploration stage and the sky is the limit!

Conclusion
This blog has been teaching me so much… And I am glad to work out this site personally and to get to know some of the great bloggers out there… Thank you for your support!
