Sorry guys, I was away from my desk today for a while… Earlier on in my previous post on laptop flickering problem, I was mentioning about the my laptop which has a flickering problem which cannot be solved at all! I was damn p*ssed off at that time… Because it is really beyond my means to solve it and I am sure my lcd is working fine! I brought it to Sim Lim Square (famous for PC stuff) and I had it solved in the following interesting scenario…
How My LCD was solved at Sim Lim For Free
The guy tried to test the vga port to see if there is anything wrong with the motherboard… It was working fine as I told him before handing the laptop over. He told me that he has never seen LCD screen flickering problem before… And I even told him that I believe the LCD is working fine too… But I can’t do anything about it but to believe him to have a LCD replacement… When he tried to replace my 15.4″, he realized it was not compatible… And later he rewired the old LCD screen back… And it worked again! And I got it back for FREE! haha!
Then I saw Chris in the recent YouTube video conversation that it has to do with the loose wires… There’s nothing wrong with the screen… Just loose wires or the wire is not connected… Have to open up to rewired it properly… So that’s my wire problem! Been having this problem for 2 years!
