It is a common problem for every webmaster to look for photos for their websites which are royalty-free. Nowadays, it seems so hard to look for one, you almost have to take out your credit card every now and then to get the pictures that you wanted. It is especially difficult if you need to get a photo which costs too expensive for you to afford… So what can you do about it?
I believe the partial reason for the better economy today is because of the better control of digital licensing. Digital-files-related companies should be making more money today. Today, the media kit for a software costs only less than SGD$50. But it is the licensing paper that costs hundreds to thousands of dollars. That licensing paper is to certify that you are eligible to use that software for a certain number of users.
Graphics, ebooks, software, music and videos are better appreciated than ever before. They are being appreciated in payment rather than theft. As for myself, I would never realize I would pay about SGD$300 for wordpress themes when I could do them myself. But of course, that’s because I appreciate the idea of leveraging when I am not free doing them myself nowadays. I would rather focus myself on doing productive work.
Etienne recently blog about 20 sources of excellent stock photos for a productive blog post. This guy is one unusual Singaporean I got to know who is pretty good at making money online. He’s sharing with us some of the great photos to get from. And I think this is a great treasure for every one of you who wants to get quality photos for your website. I am looking at them myself now. Well, I can tell you that I wouldn’t bother to look at those websites if they are being shown to me back in the 2000s… But now, they are like treasures…
Who told you that getting a free WordPress theme is always a good idea? Well, if you have too much time to explore and to do them yourself, I would recommend you to do it yourself then. It’s all about maximizing income, and minimizing expenses as much as possible… But don’t be too obsessed about cutting costs to do silly things…
