Middlemen. Some of us may call them “Resellers”. They basically buy a product from their vendors, and sell it to their customers.

On the surface, it is as simple as that.

In fact, many people may think that it is a no-brainer to make money in such a simple method. And they thought it is a number game whereby they approach 10, expecting 2 will buy. (Which is not true all the time).

Did the middlemen know that customers are looking for them because they are providing a priceless service which the 1st tier salespeople are unable to fulfill?

For example, 1st tier salespeople are usually from the actual company who has to handle inventory and everything else. They may not have the extra values that middlemen have!

So why we want to use middlemen?

Hardworking middlemen tend to think from the customer’s point of view. That’s because they can choose to buy from other brands if this particular brand is really not suitable. 1st tier salesmen are more concerned with selling their own products than their competitors!

But what happen to most of the middlemen’s services?

It really disappoints me that many of these middlemen are merely passing messages.
When we asked for a certain information, the middlemen basically asked us to refer to the product documentation.

Yes, I know I can always take reference from the product documentation. Have the middlemen ever thought the reason why we are looking for them? If these group of middlemen are just messengers, I think they should be working for the 1st tier instead. They are not suitable in this trade, and I believe most are probably facing financial problems today.

Product documentation has very low level of information. It requires time and efforts to read through. And if we really need to read through, we basically know how the product is functioning from head to tail. We don’t need middlemen, we can just go direct to manufacturers.

Customers are having problems here. Can the middlemen businesspeople give us some solutions? We are spending money here to exchange for more time here… We are not spending money to the middlemen who don’t add value for their existence!
