I was trying to answer a question from a reader but it seems difficult to reply since the mail keep bouncing back. I think this topic seems relevant and I will just post it up here for everybody’s reference. You might have noticed in my blog, there is a Google ads in almost every post that I made (Even in this post itself). Well, it is always good to put your ads near your contents to avoid Ad Blindness. It is definitely not to trick your visitors to click on it. It is to let your visitors to check it out on the way as we try our best not to put the ads in the visitors’ blindspot (An area where they don’t see.)
What I did was just the following steps:
- Download Google Adsense Deluxe plug-in at http://www.acmetech.com/blog/adsense-deluxe/ and install.
- Go to your Google Adsense account and get your Adsense code of the relevant size and interface.
- Go to Options => AdSenseDeluxe => New Adsense Block
- write “article”
- Tick “Make Default”
- Paste the code into “AdSense Code”
- Click the button “Add AdSense Block”
- Check your “Adsense Blocks” if this comment is available
<!–adsense–>
- Whenever you start a new post, click on “Code” and type in “<!–adsense–>”. Then, you can start entering your contents for your blog as usual.
- That’s all.
Hope this helps. See ya!
