This blogger must have done affiliate marketing for quite some time! He admits that he is fat. But he is going to use a blog as a log to track his weight loss! Moreover, he is going to use this blog to make some money only. In fact, with his hundreds of feed subscribers, he must be making more than just “some money”. This person is none other than Israel! And his blog is about a fat man’s blog on weight loss, diet, fitness and inner warriorness.
Banner makes the whole blog stand out!
I particularly like this banner shown below. It somehow gives me a so-called Web 2.0 feeling. I only recently get to know Web 2.0 graphics when my designer designed the banner for me and he termed it this way. This banner alone, gives me a totally overwhelmed feeling of the idea of unleashing his fats!
Video Review
Let’s take a look at the video review over here. This avi video took me one whole day to upload due to the extra 15mb fat I was trying to shed! I don’t know why but this video seems to get really fat at 115mb! Causing me to find ways and means to shed it away to get the video uploaded to YouTube’s 100mb restriction… Oh well, I used Windows MovieMaker to shed the fat into wmv which seems a little lousier quality… And now, Let me present to you the Fat Man Live! on TV!
The Power Of Niche
Israel is actually teaching all of us how to write a niche blog. It is not as hard as we thought it could be. And I believe some of us might start to write a blog not related to Make-Money-Online anymore. This blog is basically consisting of pay-per-click ads which blend into his blog very well. And it also includes affiliate banners to bring in some exciting cash while his very targeted traffic is interested in basically everything inside.
He’s totally focused at what he’s blogging. And he’s blogging consistently! That brings to my attention of how much Google can love this guy to give him sufficient new visitors which could possibly be more than 30% of his overall traffic everyday.
Well-Designed Blog
I can’t deny it at all that his blog is so “web 2.0″ feeling that he must have put in a lot of time and effort into it. I wonder if he engaged any programmers or designers for his blog. He has a well-mixed blend of upfront contents and backend codings. It is usually the case where we will see good contents and bad design, or vice versa.
He even added on a few pages which is the topic of the blog. Hie Weight Loss Program Page! And his Evolution Pictures! I can’t wait to see how much changes he will become over the period… And how much more weight he is going to cut away!
As a result, you can understand that his blog structure has served him well to express his contents!
The Power Of Focus
It’s no wonder that his feed subscribers are in terms of hundreds. He simply continues to capture the readers’ heart to remain loyal as more readers subscribe to his feed. This brought me to understand why feed subscription is so important in the measurement of blog’s health. And the secret is in the focus. As you focus on what you want, the readers will not be confused of what you want. They will simply keep on subscribing if they found the reason why.
On the other hand, if your RSS subscription jumped by a leap, it doesn’t mean anything if you don’t know how to handle the numbers well. It comes with maturity and patience to get everything up and running properly.
No Advertising Page Found
I was quite surprised to see his site without a page to advise his readers about advertising on his blog. Isn’t his site ready to take in advertisers? Or perhaps, he wants to remain as it is to make his money since this is probably the best way not to be make Google angry. Is it so? Only Israel has the answer!
He is advertising his blog everywhere!
On the other hand, I found his blog being advertised in many blogs. He seem to have a better plan of doing his business online. Anyway, his blog is perfectly ready to take on the huge traffic! I see no reason why he should stop bringing in more traffic since his conversion rate must be pretty high by now.
Conclusion
Boy, I can tell you that his blog is so easy to review! When a blog is so easy to review, you can expect his readers having good time at his blog! I believe his readers are comfortable with him, trying to find out when he is becoming tall, slim and muscular again! I’ll bet with Israel that his blog must have more female subscribers than males! hahaha! Just joking…
