King Nomar dot Com is a very straightforward blog. It is probably one of the easiest-to-understand blogs that I have reviewed so far, with all the necessary mechanics to make some money online with his blog as well. This blog is almost one year old now with a rss readership of about 150. I believe the consistency of this blogger has won the hearts of the readers over the months to subscribe to its feed. This blogger seems to have all the how-to-do skills, but didn’t grow very quickly.
Consistency
Given over 300 posts since 24th October 2006, it has a page rank of 5. Boasting to have over 10,000 unique visitors every month, it has over 300 visitors a month. I can see that he is very consistent in his blogging career when I look at the Internet archives of his site which shows exactly the same Mystic theme all the way since last year. And he makes it a point to write with consistent quality of his postings so his readers need not be worried of a blogger who suddenly shuts off his blog.
Just look at his visitor graph below… I have not really seen such a consistency yet…
Most of the bloggers in my reach are having graphs which are either shooting up all the way, or having ups and downs… And many shot up very high and either come down straight, or they managed to capture the unexpected visitors and maintain at a certain level up there…
The Winning Blog Design
According to Nomar talking about his blog’s web design, he is finally changing this old mystic wordpress design into a new blog design from Nate Whitehill. Nate Whitehill is sure to have lots of business right now! Looking at this blog which is so familiar to the old winning formula from John Chow, King Nomar seems to be going for the next winning formula which might be the same structure again.
The old structure follows a menu of “About Page”, “Advertise”, “Archives”, “Top Post” and “Contact Me”, and a right sidebar of text link ads, sometimes a reviewme too…
The new structure follows the old structure also, with additional 3 square structure of “showing some popular posts on front page”, “newsletter subscription”, and one other of their choice…
Advertisements
This blog seems to have lots of traffic coming in… and yet he only places 1 “miserable” Google advertisement inside the advertisement area on every post… That makes up a total of three advertisements only… Don’t get me wrong for saying bad things about him… He is smart to do that actually! He is creating a competition for the advertisers to bid a higher price so he can make more money out of his over 300 visitors per day! What a smart move! But probably need a better ad placement to prevent further ad blindness… A left placement might be better than the right…
He seems to have stopped giving reviews about the blogs out there… I can still see his activeness in writing sponsored reviews with his last review on triple dot com on 25th August.
His advertise page only shows advertisement for text links… And it’s for $25 per month on a page rank 5 website. No mentioning about review sponsorship or any other…
Make Money Online
Another Make-Money-Online related blog. His theme surrounds “Search Engine Ranking“. He focuses himself talking about Search Engine Optimization as much as he can… He has a whooping 62 posts tagged with “SEO” category, the second highest posts which only contributes half of his top category with 172 posts talking about “business“… He’s most likely here to stay when he’s making over $100 in his adsense… He has to keep on enduring through till he makes a decent income out of internet… Probably his adsense placement isn’t really good actually?
Conclusion
A straightforward blog talking about Making Money Online… Also talking about his web projects he is working on which reveals to us how to do a better web business from his experience… Nice to read through his hundreds of blogs… Not boring at all with his interesting life and his endeavours to work through all the online businesses! Probably the shortest straightforward pages I have ever seen in “About Me” and “Advertise”… Anyway, all his other pages are related to his posts…
