Oh well, it has brought to my attention recently that the purpose of a business is to create and keep customers.
So what does that mean again? Business has always been a people game. If there is no people around you while you want to make money, you are basically dreaming about it.
I don’t care whether you are doing business online or offline. It is all about crowding yourself with human beings.

Logically speaking, many people tend to be very focused on making themselves a niche in the market. They like to think of what makes them different from the rest. But in the end, they are being of no human touch for their customers, making their customers focus on comparison between the two businesses to buy from.
If you have also noticed, for those of the people who are making big money today, they tend to have a better sense of doing business generally in terms of operation, sales and marketing. They might not know exactly how to do it. But they are focusing more towards leveraging on people who know. What they really know, is still about human communication… making people happy to work with them.
This world is never about I-Win-You-Lose situations. It’s not really about dog-eat-dog world like we seem to know of. When you negotiate a deal with someone, you are making a Win-Win situation with that someone. Negotiation is about both progressing and compromising. Compromising is to give way for your opponent to gain something, while progressing is something for yourself to gain.
Don’t dictate the situations by thinking of that “best” Win-Win scenario all by yourself. It doesn’t really work that way because you will never know what works and don’t-works for that someone you are negotiating with.
Making money online is a “perfect” business for each and everyone of us. That’s because you get to mix around with so many people around the world, and you have something to offer to them. Think for the best of your potential customers who want to render your services (or buy your products)… There will be a percentage of potential customers who don’t agree with you. This is what we called the number game. If you get about 20 rejections for a sale of a product, that means that your magic number is about approaching 20 customers to obtain one unit of profit. Come to think of it, if you have a analytics program, you will be able to understand your profit margin for the amount of traffic that you attract.
