What Social Media Taught Me About Politics

A lot of people are very afraid of saying the wrong things in front of the media, their bosses, or even friends.

Actually, it’s almost as same as writing a tweet, a blog post, or even just updating your facebook status… Once you have let go of the word, it’ll be known to the world sooner or later. And to write something which is politically correct to all of your friends, colleagues and relatives, it seems really hard since many of us don’t usually reveal our personal life so much.

Just imagine complaining about your work on facebook when it is potentially be known to your colleagues… Yet you act as though nothing has happened.. It’s really learning about politics in social media!

It’s just as good as learning how to be politically correct in this so-called real world.

Over the years of participating in the social media, it has been concluded that honesty is the best policy! Just by being yourself, you’ll be able to grow in both your career and personal life!

Social media taught me not to be defensive in my actions and thoughts.. Just by being myself, i get to grow from the things that i have done correctly as well as wrongly! I learn from my mistakes.. I also am rewarded from the goodness that i have done.

Social media taught me not to be selfish as i will help as much as i can without expecting to be rewarded. Because it taught me that life is a reflection.. How you treated other people, you’ll be treated the same. And if they treated you differently, it’s just a matter of time that this will either change or both of you will be separated.

Also, it’s never a dog-eat-dog world… If it is, nobody will like that “dog” and will separate themselves from that dog.

Politics are definitely everywhere. It’s not really how you should manage it.. But it’s really about how you can just focus yourself in becoming better in your work and communicate with your surrounding. Just treat the surrounding is being truthful to you (even if it’s not), and work based on it.. You’ll grow along the way and become better that ever before!

How can a person be negative in any way if he is just being himself and trying to solve problems? I think it’s impossible..
