Why am I unfollowing people on Twitter?

On Twitter, I used to follow back people who follow me. It’s a kind of reciprocation to my followers. The impact was not very big on me since i’m just doing my part.

As i used Twitter longer, i realized the power it is holding. I got to learn from really cool people whom i actually followed accidentally! The kind of information they produce makes me wanna follow them willingly.

That’s also when my RT ninja skills come into play, i.e. I start to retweet their messages.

A lot of people whom i’m following don’t seem to be the ones i want to read about. Some of them are really well-known people of their own trade. Well, i’m trying to streamline to the one i want to know. I do follow online friends i got to know as well. Hence, please let me know if i’ve accidentally unfollow you.

As a result of my action, i’ve lost some followers. I think it’s good because i’m starting to attract followers who are really interested in my topics.
