You can only charge 500 times of power before saying good bye to your iPhone

Have you ever thought how long you can use your iPhone for before changing to another phone?

Anyway, it’s a fact that you’ll only use a smart phone for up to 2 to 3 years only… So charging 500 times should be sufficient before you change a new phone…

A lot of my friends said that they can use iPhone for a long time because it’s a smartphone unlike other phones that they have used..
Sidetrack a bit.. I wonder if they ever knew that the symbian phones that they’ve been using previously from nokia and sony ericsson are actually smart phones that they can install apps? In fact, i’m now using wavelog app in my Nokia N95 to blog this post right now.

Anyway, the point here is that you cannot use your iPhone for a long time like my 3-year-old Nokia N95.. That’s because you cannot replace your battery easily.. You probably need to pay someone to hack open the phone to change that faulty battery..

Come to think of it.. The lifespan of a phone is typically 2 years… If ever you can use your applications for a very long time, it probably means that the manufacturer is willing to support the old version of software while coming up with new versions to bring in more sales… Anyway, i don’t think any phone company will ever want to support for more than 2 years.. And they will keep on enticing you to buy new phones…

My old smart phone is still serving me quite well. Except for its speed, most of the applications are quite good. It’s only sooner or later that i’ll get a new phone…

And my choice will be android phone because it will definitely support Google and Adobe Flash… This is something i am uncomfortable about when Apple announced that their iPhone will not support the usage from these two brands… Moreover, there is a possibility that i can continue to use the phone longer that 3 years if its cpu speed is much faster than my existing Nokia N95…

In fact, i only need to replace my battery! You iPhone users will never be able to replace your batteries… Just prepare to buy iPhone 4G when your battery died… Haha.. By the way, how many iPhone and Android phone users here?
