• Who is Charles?

I have been an Internet reviewer, reviewing websites since June 2007.

Social media has been a phenomenon since 2007. It brings in the true two-way communication between the websites and their visitors. That's what Web 2.0 is all about. I aim to review what the world has become, and to give you my opinions and choices.

  • Want to be reviewed?

Over at my blog, I review you at no cost. But I will not be obliged to write reviews about your website, nor will I be obliged to write reviews positively. It is purely from my own point of view. There will have no deadline for me to finish any reviews if I am going to take up.

Please prepare your product ready for me before contacting me. Thanks. :)

Anybody on Google Latitude?

By Charles On April 19, 2009 4 Comments

I have added one friend who is in United States.  However, it is not fun that there seems to have nobody in Singapore who has Google Latitude on their phone.  Anybody out there who has it? Contact me and let me know!

What is Google Latitude?  It is a feature in Google Map application for your mobile phone.  Google Map allows you to find out where you are using GPS and other relevant technologies.  It requires Internet access, probably to download the relevant updated maps when you want to see.

Basically, if you have a 3G phone with subscription to unlimited Internet access, you may want to use your phone browser and download Google Map on your mobile phone.  It is compatibile with the following mobile phones:

  • Android-powered devices, such as the T-Mobile G1
  • iPhone and iPod touch devices (coming soon)
  • most color BlackBerry devices
  • most Windows Mobile 5.0+ devices
  • most Symbian S60 devices (Nokia smartphones)

(Oops, where is Sony Ericsson?)

Have fun with Google Latitude.  Take a look at the video below:

Now, they even allow you to send custom Latitude message.  Got to know this from Google blog about sending a video message with Google Latitude!

Remember to add me on Google Latitude!  Contact me!
