There are basically text blogging, video blogging and audio blogging. Probably somebody might want to invent software blogging where we can blog with hardware to translate the things of what we touch and feel and smell… Is there anymore ways of blogging? I may not know but please let me know if you know more…

Ok so in my knowledge, there are three types of blogging.

Text Blogging
Basically, you are just posting text in your blog. You will be writing articles about yourself, your business, your hobbies, your family, your friends, your boy-girl-relationship, your journal, news around you, new discovery, etc… Welcome to the text world! Basically, text is a very powerful tool… Newspapers and magazines have grown big companies out of words… Informative websites have been making lots of money from Google Adsense, everybody is searching for text in the search engines… Words are simply an amazing invention ever… I believe the Internet is first invented based on text marketing!

Video Blogging
Video blogging can be used to market yourself to the world, teaching people how to do certain things in life, demonstrating how a product works, watching shows of some stories, etc…. Video is yet another powerful tool… Television stations, news reporters, actors and actresses, story director, etc… They are all making big money! Seeing is believing… Video lets people see reality… I believe the television is first invented based on video marketing (advertisements!)…

Audio blogging
Talking on a mic, creating motivating audios, songs, short clips of an interesting stories, telling everybody how great they are in this world! Audio is a powerful tool! Radio companies are making big bucks out of audio! Music companies are making lots of money selling albums.. Singers are making millions.. Audio can create a peaceful or a noisy surrounding… Probably radio is first invented based on audio marketing…

Different Ways Of Marketing using Different Forms of Blogging
Fortunately, we don’t use the same way of advertising for different forms of blogging.

1. Text marketing is based towards search engine optimizations, where searching for text is a norm and blogging text is contributing to the Internet economy! It can be packaged into pdf file, being portable enough to be sent from one place to another easily!
2. Video marketing is more like a viral web marketing whereby everybody can put a piece of that video on their blog to let everybody see! One video, many websites to broadcast! What a brilliant idea! It spreads like fire on its own almost without the help of the author!
3. Audio marketing is something even more phenomenon in the viral way! We can compress them into a file and spread the audio from one computer to another… It can spread from email to email… From website to website… From program to program (MSN messaging for example)… From thumb drive to thumb drive… From CD to CD! From DVD to DVD! And might even spread to radio! That’s how many singers got their fame… Imagine the people like to share nice free songs around… It’s so portable!

A Nice Mixture of All In A Blog
I am adopting all three in my blog right now… Where most blogs that I see tend to focus a lot on contents (I do focus on my contents as well…), I also post videos.. And sooner or later, I will start audio blogging too… Tapping on the three forms of blogging, you will get to touch all three different ways of marketing! That’s really a huge leverage of marketing out there!

People get to see my blog through:

1. Viral marketing on the website… Seeing my video on their blogs, attracting new traffic from their sites to my blog.
2. Viral marketing from email… Seeing my pdf file spreading from email to email… Interested traffic will click and visit my site for more…
3. Search engine marketing because of my site’s full of text… With text all over the place, the search engine will be able to send in interested traffic where they are looking for relevant articles to help them with their work…
4. Viral marketing with free download of audio… Giving free lessons in an audio file.. Teaching people how to do this and that… Giving it free to their friends who might be interested… New “blood” of traffic is coming in this way…
5. Repeat visitors who kept on coming back, and spreading about this site to different people… Because this blog is taking three forms of marketing, it is also magnifying my “products” in a bigger view! People will love to see and hear and enjoy the multimedia it is bringing in…

Having Just One Form Is Also A Niche
There are some blogs which use only one form of blogging.

1. They might use video blogging to show all the interesting videos of the same theme… And people will just come back for more videos! This blog is a video show online!
2. They might use audio blogging to bring the listeners to hear some of the greatest songs online… This might become a singer’s portal!
3. They might just use it for blogging text… It becomes an information website where it has all the different articles for people to retrieve and read…
4. They might want to do a Video News Reporting site…
5. They might want to do a news site with pure text and supporting pictures…
6. They might want to do a DJ blogging site where the DJ will start to talk about the various singers, introducing new songs…
7. They might want to do a motivation audio site… Where you get to hear all the famous motivators teaching us how to live life passionately!
8. They might want to do a bible study in a blog… Giving an audio sermon each day…
9. They might want to bring in all the video tapes for sale online… And showing just one show each week to bring viral marketing for people to come back for more… in the hope of buying a video online..
10. Handicapped people might want to express themselves in a blog too! If they can’t talk, they can use text blogging… If they can see, they can use audio blogging… And if they can’t talk and see and hear, they can use video blogging!

I believe there will be more enhanced forms of marketing based on these three ways of blogging… We shall wait and see..
