Back in those days when I was doing physical business, I have been constantly looking for more sales for my business. Everybody who passes me looks like a prospect! In my mind, I would think whether this person is a potential customer, and would want to look into converting him into my customer. You must remember that in physical business, if we have no sales, we have no food to eat! It is as though we have no choice when we are still starting out on our business.

Working on Physical Business
Probably you have not done physical business before, or you were just working for someone else on a job. Do you know that as a business owner, if we don’t move, the business doesn’t move at all? We are talking about meeting more prospects, closing more sales. And if the sales is recurring, it is a double joy because I can work on more sales while having loyal customers. And if the sales is not recurring, we have to keep on looking for more new customers while keeping up with our existing customers.

And the best sales we can have is from our own friends and relatives where they might become recurring sales because of the close relationships. Furthermore, doing business is all about relationships… Customers like to buy from familiar people… And that secures a long term business to make…

Working on Internet Business
When I started to do Internet Business, I feel really relaxed in myself whenever I am away from my computer. That’s because all my surrounding people are no longer my target market where I used to be giving them my name card, trying to network around. And when I am right at my desk, I focus myself to produce contents, working on link building, working on marketing, working on socializing with fellow bloggers and forums and even just to wandering around. Because whenever I do that, I am already marketing myself. Every person only simply “sells” himself in a unique way effortlessly! In fact, when someone gets too aggressive online, people will only deem him as a “spammer” or “cheater” trying to cheat us.

Doing Internet Business doesn’t mean I am not working hard. In fact, I am sitting in front of my computer for about 15 hours a day! It is just that we are all working really hard in the Information world, while enjoying ourselves in the outside world.

The similarity of physical and internet

• Both also require me to do more networking sessions with the people around.
• Both also need me to do sales where the Internet sales come with the sales copy that I am learning to write and the physical sales come with the sales kit and myself as the presenter.
• Both also require marketing where in physical I have to keep on meeting more people with my time, and in Internet I just have to leverage on computer to help me save time with optional payment for better marketing.
• Both need a product or service to sell, resell or to refer.

The very ONE thing that is different
On the Internet, I can do everything properly to be scheduled to be done according to time so that I can take my time off to do some other things such as going for holiday! But the physical business is almost impossible to do that! Internet might actually be fully automated to get in all the cashflow while physical will still need the very person there to mend the business.

Conclusion
Do you see how fortunate we are to do Internet business?  It is even better than MLM (or network marketing) companies where it can simulate that structure using affiliate programs and yet it is still automated!  Oh, when on earth did business become so much easier to do?
