I was quite shocked to hear from my client that he wouldn’t want to put in any google ads in his website, even if it helps to cut cost for him in his business endeavors.  But come to think again, I start to see that Singapore websites don’t really like to put in Google ads.  Especially ads which have the words “Google” inside.  He’s still fine with other banners… But just don’t want to show the word “google” inside… Maybe Singapore companies still exist with slower trend in technology advances even though we have a well-connected community here…

Many web design companies seem to have a very big problem with optimizing their sites properly.  When I see how a company website is done, it is somehow lack of real internet presence… In overall, Singapore still has the idea that a website is just a online brochure… And the funny part is that they believe a lot in online shopping website where it is the hardest to do online actually!

Online shopping website is a “huge online shopping center”… Where it needs gigantic amount of money to pump into the web development, marketing expenses, logistics and delivery… It seems to be the only choice for any Singapore website to do such a website… Or else, they would just do a site for showcasing their products and services, and they will say “At least, we have a website!”  But the actual usage for the domain name is to use its email address as a packaging for the company…

On the other hand, email is widely used in Singapore by many trading companies… The manufacturing companies don’t seem to have such an “advance” in their business yet…

But hey guys, don’t you think there’s a huge market for such thing in Singapore actually?  I start to see people like Stephen Pierce, and more new-born Singapore gurus are here to start the ball rolling to teach people about Internet Marketing.

Internet Marketing in Singapore has been largely perceived as a scam… Where many people have spent thousands of dollars and not making any money and start to think this is not a possible thing to do… But out of these people, pop up some of the people who actually managed to make hundreds of thousands of dollars when they managed to pull through… There are more and more people proving themselves every now and then…

Now, I am working a cash cow for myself to bring in some income while working online.  Most of my time, I would just work on my blog and some small projects while helping to do some sidelines such as trading and helping out in some websites.  And above all, I am focusing on building a family…

If all else fails, I will apply for a position to be an air steward…
