I must say it takes me around 20 days!  I think it is relatively long… It is not just about building this site.  It is about making charleslau.com to work according to the model I wanted.  Especially for me, I do not really know any of the blog software out there except blogger.com which provides everything for me, until I realise it is not really everything.  From the day I have decided to work on a blog, working on what topics for my site, trying out different blog programs until I got to use WordPress… I am glad that I am now using WordPress for my blogging business.  It is so simple to use… It’s probably the easiest installation and adaptation to use I have ever known…

But the story doesn’t end there… Ever since I started using WordPress, I faced some problems of being a blogger.  It is about the type of topics I am writing on, the length of the blog, the theme of the blog, the everything about contents!  Being a blogger, you are made to focus on contents more than almost anything else because you have to do it regularly.  And to do it regularly, I previously thought of working out a series of courses here to write… And I realise I have wrote too long… It’s like 3000 words. Although they are of quality (I assume), it is just taking a lot of time just to write it, and also to read it…

And because of the latest upgrade of WordPress version 2.2.1, I have decided to revamp the whole website from scratch again since this software requires to unplug all the plug-ins and database before upgrading it and then import them in again.  And here I am, my new blog with its new interface!

Hey there Charles! Have you downloaded the Wordpress Auto Upgrade Plugin? It is really nifty, allowing you to automatically upgrade without having to reconfigure everything. If you want it, just hit me back or Google it.

    Good day!

oh… I just find it a hassle to do that… But I still have to do it one day… New versions tend to make old versions’ bugs more obvious… :(
