As I was browsing through the Internet, I can see so many Internet Scams. So many people have been spending money on these kind of things… Some of the products were not even good at all after sale… In fact, these scams have hurt the Internet industry so much that some of the people have “burnt their fingers” after trying. They wouldn’t want to come into such an opportunity anymore… And it is advancing to a stage of combining network marketing with Internet in a very powerful way.

Once bitten, twice shy… So I thought it would be good to write something about how to identify a scam.

What Type of Scams To Avoid

  1. When they show you all the good benefits, making so much money, telling you how good it is that you can get, you might want to avoid it if they tell you nothing about how you are actually going to make the money either by example of themselves, or some people out there.
  2. When they show you an opportunity that you can’t miss and wouldn’t want to tell you much until you join, I believe you should give it a miss… It doesn’t hurt anyway!
  3. When an opportunity involves human beings which require you to “sell” it out to the world, you might want to give it miss too if you are not interested in doing a business or into sales. That’s because any company’s vision in the world is to let the whole world knows about their products and services… And you are going to do that for them as an opportunity.. When somebody gives you an opportunity like this, you have to see it from the perspective of a business and not as a quick-rich opportunity.
  4. Is this company financially sound? You wouldn’t want to work with a company which is dying right? Your money and effort will be gone just like that too…

How Should You Look At An Opportunity
Don’t be rushed by opportunity even though it might only knock once in your lifetime. Take a good look at it. See how much money you can make. Find out more about what you are required to do. Take a really good look at its products and services and ask yourself if you really wish to get into this industry. Have a plan in your time management and find out about your commitment level. It does not matter if you are full-time or part-time, but it matters in how much you are doing in those timing every single day! If you are a speedy person, a part-time for you is equivalent to a full-time slow learner…

Every opportunity involves a product/service, either tangible or intangible. If they don’t have, you might not want to waste your time on it. Just ask yourself, in what situation will you spend money for nothing? You spend money to buy insurance (that’s a product), you spend money to buy a car (that’s a product), you spend money to buy food (that’s a product), you spend money to pay tax (that’s a service to allow Government to function well!). If they tell you that you just need to spend this amount of money and start letting other people spend that amount of money, and it just rolls, I can tell you the success level is very small and temporary… You will earn very little out of it but you will gain a lot of problems… Because people use money to solve their problems! Products and services are the solutions to their problems… If you earn money from neither a product or a service, you must be inviting problems!

How To deal with an opportunity?

  1. Take human factor when you are looking at opportunity. Find out how human beings are involved in the opportunity in some way or another. There is no such opportunity as not involving human beings because where human beings are money are with them.
  2. Take time into your factor. Find out how much time you have to spend on the opportunity each day. It doesn’t matter if it’s a full time or a part time. Just make sure you must be working as much as another person who works full time there slowly. Quantity of work counts here… Quality is next.. If you can’t really commit that much, it is better to give it a miss.
  3. Take money into your factor. Are you in need of money right now? If so, forget about the opportunity and go and find a job first! That’s the fastest way of getting your money. Or if you are not in need of money, find out how much can you survive without income… If you can survive without income for 6 months, good news for you! Go and try working in that opportunity as much as you can… Full Time is the best option!

Concluding
Never suspect anything as a scam if it is a money-making opportunity. Just take a deep breath, and look at what they have to say about the opportunity. Find out more about it. Ask through everything that you have doubts about. Be really open about it. However, if they refuses to tell you more and invite you to join them to find out as you do, I would suggest you to give it a miss. Find out how much you are going to make in the next 2 months, and what you are going to do to get that money… Remember, anything that they refuse to tell you, you are free to leave since they are not being cooperative enough to let you in for an opportunity…

If you are already working on an opportunity, try not to jump into another opportunity easily. Work on your current opportunity till you see some success… Only then, you can determine whether you should go for another opportunity or to work on both together. Take note of your time management while you are working on them… Good luck!
