Ever since the invention of the Internet, a lot of businesses have been affected directly or indirectly.  I remember back in those days where we don’t have access to the vast information… The ones who kept the information made the most money because they are the only ones who know where is cheap to buy, and to sell them at high price outside.  Now, Internet is making everything clear that almost all your prices are known to the world if they worked hard to do some internet research…

I have been thinking… Internet is such a wonderful communication tool that everyone of us cannot under-utilize it.  Google has made almost everything searchable.  If you are unsure of certain thing, just key it in and find out what the world knows about this.  If you wish to do some trading business, all you need is a computer with Internet access.  So you can ask for prices on the fly when your customers are asking you for it!  You don’t even need to keep an inventory!

There are way so many products and services that we can do on the Internet.  We can choose to do tangible products where we can see and can touch… But we have to arrange for the delivery when it comes.  Or if you wish to save the hassle of delivering the items, you can do intangible products where you can see but cannot touch… That’s information.  It seems like selling information is getting more and more recognized around the world.

Singapore is kind of lagging behind when it comes to buying information from the internet.  They would prefer more towards buying a book to have a feel of the papers and its cover.  But when you look at the bigger picture of the whole world, information is so much easily accessed if you are more willing to pay for information which you can touch!  And they seem to be making more and more presence on the Internet nowadays.

I am looking forward for even more progression from the Internet again!  I start to feel I can’t live without it… Do you?
