The Process of Reviewing Blogs

Don’t Give Your Blog For Review When You Are Not Ready!
This is probably the best advice I can give to anyone out there who wishes to send their blog for reviews from high profile bloggers. Check out the few pointers before sending for review:
- Are you feeling that you have done everything you need for your blog already?
- Do you feel that your blog is ready to welcome new visitors from the reviewer’s blog?
- Do you feel that you already have enough quite a substantial number of posts in your blog to allow new visitors to see?
- Is your blog reader-friendly?
If the blogger obviously knows that he has not done a good job in his blog, he should get them all fixed before asking for a review. It is especially expensive to get a paid review and only to hear the reviewer asking the reviewee to change the things that everybody already knows. And one thing which is even more expensive, is that the blogger will be known to many people out there for his amateur in the Internet because his blog will be logged as part of the Internet archives forever!
As I am learning and reviewing other people’s blogs, I start to learn that blogging has got two kinds basically:
1) Niched-Category Blog
2) Blog Category
What I mean is that the niched-category blog is focused on talking about a certain topic again and again…. Making his site really focused like an article site. This kind of blog is probably not so much of the reader’s participation.
Whereas the blog category is talking about the blogger’s thought in his blog. Yes, he might be talking about “Make Money Online” today…. Yes, he might be talking about “Motivation” tomorrow… Yes, he might be just rambling around his blog… But it is just about him! It contains his voice… It is making him the icon for the readers to come back for! That’s blog category!
I believe blog has further progression in the near future… Probably people like Nate Whitehill will get to bring the blog to the next level in his endeavors…
