It is now a fact that information can be transmitted at the speed of light.  A post of this blog from Singapore, can be seen in America instantly.  Ideas are being shared everywhere around the world quickly.  Especially with the speedy growth of blogs, personal ideas are evolving into creative business ideas which can be really profitable, an example would be a hobby of collecting stamps when you were young could be converted into a hobby website to attract people of the common interest where you may even earn your living with your own hobby, selling stamps and exchanging them while putting advertisements for high readership.

Internet Classes
It wasn’t surprised when I heard from Michael Sexton blogging about “Make a Revolution in Your Life” that Yale University is offering classes on the Internet.  A piece of information is no longer needed to require a person to travel all the way to school to retrieve.  It could be retrieved instantly from the Internet, and it is even possible to retrieve hundreds of thousands of information instantly still!  One very obvious niche is that we are saving time and money on traveling, another might be the elimination of our school bags to carry those stacks of notes which are so inconvenient and how I wish they are all in my laptop with 15.4″ LCD which is still lighter… (Well, I have stopped carrying on my tertiary education already since 2001…)

Different Forms of Internet
Information can be in the form of video, audio and text.  These three things are very powerful media as they actually relate to “television, radio and Internet” respectively… They can affect our lives directly… And especially the Internet where it can comprise of all three forms altogether!  It is intangible and extremely portable, powerful in the business industry such as marketing, designing, advertising and programming.  Businessmen, who are used to do tangible business where they can see products and services, will have difficulties getting themselves to understand this information industry and yet they didn’t know how much they could have saved by leveraging on a computer than to employ another human being to do manual work.

Selling Your Products Using Offline Information
Offline information can be a sales man itself, selling 24 hours a day.  When you leave a brochure at your prospect’s house, that brochure which is then left on the table will be seen by the family members looking at it again and again.  And if you can do a up a good sales copy (You might work out a discount coupon in this example.), the family could just leave it at home till they have the time to go and buy it.

Online information on the other hand, can be a real super sales man, selling 24 hours once your mechanics are properly set. New prospects can keep on coming into your website, to see what you have to offer.  You might do a name squeeze page to capture their email addresses before they leave for another website.  In this way, you will be able to do an automated email sending to your subscribers again and again till their interest is high enough to buy it.

Learning Information can be a real lucrative business
People are consistently looking for new information.  And we are privileged enough to own some information which others don’t know at all.  It’s somewhat I call it as “The Calling Of Life”… I have got my calling recently about being an business author, writing about my favorite topic “Business”.  I had never touched on this topic in 2003 and all my years before that.  However, this topic is so easy for me to write on so that I can just blog on and on about this topic on business!  It’s my calling… What’s your calling in life?

Imagine how you could have learned how to cook a special dish without that recipe book… Imagine how our lives could be so laid back without information flowing everywhere through the Internet, television, radio and even our mobile phones… Imagine how you are going to handle so many customers trying to pay you money while you are still keeping track of your accounting of your profit and loss… Without information, many things simply couldn’t work properly!
