• Who is Charles?

I have been an Internet reviewer, reviewing websites since June 2007.

Social media has been a phenomenon since 2007. It brings in the true two-way communication between the websites and their visitors. That's what Web 2.0 is all about. I aim to review what the world has become, and to give you my opinions and choices.

  • Want to be reviewed?

Over at my blog, I review you at no cost. But I will not be obliged to write reviews about your website, nor will I be obliged to write reviews positively. It is purely from my own point of view. There will have no deadline for me to finish any reviews if I am going to take up.

Please prepare your product ready for me before contacting me. Thanks. :)

The Whole Idea About Marketing

By Charles On August 24, 2007 Under Online Marketing

As everybody knows that marketing is all about being heard. This recently, there has been a lot of bloggers making blunders which caused their blogs to create massive traffic! Although many people might view it as a bad thing for the blogger’s reputation, it is nevertheless the way of making himself known. And remember that for everything on earth, there is always pros and cons.

Pros and Cons of being known
The interesting analysis of being known on the net is that many people tend to build up their reputation slowly with fear of accidentally tarnish themselves for doing the wrong thing. But on the other hand, when they are well known while their reputation is tarnished, there is something good that we can look out for! That’s the fun part… While we can make ourselves known in the normal conventional way and look good, there is also another way of making ourselves look bad in reputation and yet we can still look out for something good out of it.

The recent resentments amongst bloggers
While we might be all fellow bloggers around the Internet, we might find that those amateur bloggers are taking all the fame by having their face slapped. The number of links and visits simply shoot all the way up and come down sharply as well. But it is looking good to be stable there, yet he seems to be missing-in-action for his blog updates.

Idea about Marketing
I hope this little post is teaching you as much as it is teaching me about being unique in a rather not-so-conventional way. We don’t have to build a niche blog to be unique… We can choose to do certain action or thing to be unique.

I was looking at John Chow’s blog, wondering why he is taking all the traffic… And I learn something about him which other Make-Money-Online doesn’t have. He has a blog which speaks of the trend… And he is doing a lot of things that people have something to talk about… Just like myself who seems to be talking about him out of nowhere.

Take ashwin for example, who offered $2500 as a contest reward had many stirs from the start to the end, from getting many blog reviews and backlinks for his contest to his contestblogger’s recent post review that ashwin contest is crap, i mean thats how you create massive traffic from another point of view, you can be the good guy, but at time there are roles for also the bad guys.

On the other hand, when such a person’s act is exposed in one corner in the Internet, it actually tells so many people out there! I have heard of this $2500 thing almost everywhere now..
Blogging seems to be a way of transparency whereby the readers tend to be very tense up when the bloggers are exposed of their acts!
