This World Is All About Sales.

What You Focus On Expands
When a friend of mine told me that it is so easy to make that five figure by selling a real estate, I knew he is thinking something about it. My first reaction was “Why don’t you go and do it now?” In this world I have seen, I personally think that this world is full of opportunities. Good or bad, that doesn’t really matter. So long as what you are focusing on expands, that matters the most.
Everything Looks Good On The Surface Only
When we look at things on the surface, we will start to think and even analyze that this particular business can make money, or that business is profitable. That’s only because we are seeing other people receiving money which is so much more than what we are making ourselves. And while we think that this person is making that amount of money, there is always a lot of implications at the back that we never know about. Things such as refunds, damaged products, unsatisfied service, rude customer service, and many others.
After trying various business myself, I don’t dare to say I have succeeded because I have not made my first million. But, I do think that we have to work on something long enough so as to expand to a stage where we can hit our first million. And even before we jump into that something, we have to ask ourselves to imagine whether we want to do this sort of business long enough or not…
I remember doing food catering myself for a short while. Though profit is pretty good, I eventually stopped myself from carrying on after having a deep thought about it. That’s because I can’t imagine myself staying in this industry too long. I can’t stand being oily every day and night… Moreover, the business time is very lengthy due to the customers’ request to deliver at the timing which is convenient for them.
So What is Sales?
Sales is not really about doing all the cold calling, hard calling, or even to sell!
Sales is actually to excel in the area that you have chosen to be in… And you will be paid accordingly. And if your work is only measurable by time, you will be paid by time (which is called salary.) If your work is measurable by the number of products or services, you will be paid by your results.
We are our own Private Limited company in every way. If you are working for someone else, you are being paid for the work that you have done. That means you have a price to pay for. And if you are working for yourself, you are being paid by your customers by the price that you asked for.
And the interesting part of making more money is that we just have to add more values in our work. And to let people appreciate our values, we have to show to people who are willing to pay for our values. If not, you will be under-paid… It goes the same to both businesses and jobs.
great points, i enjoyed this one. I’m looking into more sales through ebay today.
