I was shocked to hear that a US photo journalist by the name of James Karl Buck was saved by his Twitter! It was like a blessing in disguise when he is able to use twitter with his mobile phone wherever he goes. James was arrested for taking photographs of a demonstration in Egypt. If not for his mobile phone, nobody will be able to come to rescue him. Thank God he is fine now as his twitter alerted the world of his arrest.

TechCrunch “declares”: Twitter, Don’t Leave Home Without It!

Looks like he has an increasing number of followers now since his incident. Good things or bad things, so long as it is an extreme case, people will tend to be curious about it. :)

Such news tend to hit into our Twitter inbox as we are getting onboard on this real exciting messaging.  And when I first started twittering, I can still vividly remember there is no follower listening to me.  I was twittering for a while before I left the account untouched.  Last month, I started to twitter more often and I saw so many people are now twittering.  Initially, I thought they were all twittering for a very long time.  To my surprise, they started just about the same time as me!

We will see how many new followers will appear at James account. :)
