This is written in response to Bud Bilanich who wrote a post on “You Are Your Brand and Your Brand Is You”.

When you think of Charles Lau, what do you think of? Probably the only impression you can get from me is through my blog posts that I have published.

Personal branding is a very important stage for every small business owner. Back in the past, people like to use their own names as the company brand… In the recent years, people start to use various funky names as their company names. No matter what name you choose, you will realize that the company reflects your personality under magnifying glass!

When I started my blog, I have been thinking what kind of contents I wish to do… I do have technical background, but my business background is much stronger and recent for the past coming 4 years… I thought of doing something like Make-Money-Online blog, and I am thinking what kind of personality I wish to portray in this blog… Is it going to be all personal like John Chow? Is it going to be both personal and technical like Sunny? Is it going to be all technical like some of the sites out there which I thought they are articles copied and pasted, so I don’t know of any names since they aren’t really personal… I decide to mix the “blood” of understanding business with making money online… And hence with this topic of “Make Money Online With Internet Business”… While I try to refrain myself from writing anything irrelevant to Internet, I am also learning from the guys out there about working in the Internet.

Bud Bilanich is encouraging those people out there to start blogging to get themselves exposed to the Internet for their businesses… It is a great idea that all of us should start a blog… We all get personal with one another, we will be recognized for what we know, we will be all making money online!
