Thanks for the plugin, I have actually been wondering whether there was such a plugin (just haven’t had the time to look recently). Changing categories manually is just too hard and I am currently thinking about redoing/adding some categories so this should make it much easier.
WordPress Tip: How To Mass Categorize Your Posts Easily?
We all know how tedious it is when we have posted a lot and they are in “uncategorized” section… And we have to go in one post at a time to edit the category correctly! Fret not! We have a plugin to do this! haha I am actually looking for another plug-in… But this one is near to it… Go to this link and download “Batch Categories” plugin… There, you just download and install the directory into the plug-in directory… Then go to Manage => Batch Categories It searches for all the relevant posts with your clicks, then mass add or delete categories to them… So convenient! But do save a backup of the sql table “ |

Hey thanks for the comment!
I love to see comments popping up..
Yes it is such a hassle to change all the categories at one shot! And I wonder why such a plug-in is not being a hot favourite usage in many blogs… Enjoy this plugin!

I’m looking for a plugin to mass edit categories, but this doesn’t work for me either.
On WP 2.5.1 you can only see 15 posts and there is no pagination in the plugin admin page. If you have hundreds of articles you can batch edit only 15 of them.

This plugin doesn’t work for me either. According to this plugin’s manager tab I have ZERO posts in all my categories. Also, the “filter” button doesn’t appear unless you hit “Tab” on your keyboard. I’m on WordPress 2.6.

The number of posts that are shown at one time can be edited in admin.php (for the plugin). Change the per_page variable right below the “Maybe make this an option some time” comment. I have it set to 100 and it works great.
