With the recent add-on of blogrush widget for every blog, it is becoming more and more clear that the title of every blog post that we made is very important. It is already important when you have loyal readers who subscribed to your blog, looking at the post title before reading the rest of the post. Now, even new visitors around the world get to see your post title on every blogrushed blog… Which means that you have to do something about your post title to attract more traffic!

When I looked at the blogrush widget, I don’t see a lot of information on some of the blog posts’ title. It doesn’t really appeal to me to click on it to find out more. I think that I am not writing good post titles myself too. All of us have to think more about our post titles from now on.

In fact, I find 45n5’s headline is a powerful one by itself. He reversed the idea that your headline should make people not read your post! That’s so true.

It can be really hard to write a headline when your blog is written with a variety of topics altogether. Blogs seem to be a place to show your ramblings. With the stress on writing a headline for your post, and even to tag your post which seems to fit so many categories, it is really making us sit down and think of a good headline as well as a suitable category tag.

Well, if you don’t package your contents with a good title, it’s a fact that your contents might be neglected even if it’s really written very well… I have to reflect on it myself too…
