I will be commiting my next 30 days to start something small and snowball into something really big.
The first day tomorrow, I will be focusing on downsizing. Which means I will be cutting down on my expenses and focusing on building important things within the next 30 days. Let’s go!
See you tomorrow.
After much consideration and research, I decided to move my files from Dropbox to OneDrive. I am pleased at the speed of syncing comparing to Dropbox and Google Drive. It’s going really fast for the whole day till I hit a problem which tells me nothing much except a warning “OneDrive can’t transfer files right now” which gives me no clue at all. Thankfully I found a solution after much research on Google.
I noticed that the syncing stops at around 500GB, and after much checking it is due to a OneDrive configuration which sets this limitation.
Hence, here’s the solution:
Step 1: Go to C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\OneDrive\settings\Personal\ClientPolicy.ini by and edit it.
Step 2: Look for the MaxClientMBTransferredPerDay parameter from 537600 to 1537600.
Disclaimer: While it may have solved my problem, it may not be able to solve yours and it may even present certain risk. Hence, please do it with care.
This blog is about Charles Lau.
So who is Charles Lau?
He has been doing digital marketing in the corporate world for more than 10 years, going through the various corporate positions from an executive to a manager today.
Yes, he is me. I am the blogger in this website. I have been through trying out different things about digital marketing all these years. Ever since stepping into the corporate world, I have been blogging quite infrequently. This recently, I thought I should start blogging all over again for various reasons.
So if I wish to blog again, what should I be sharing? I thought of sharing digital marketing since I have been dabbling on this for the past 10 years. In terms of digital transformation, I have been quite interested to learn more about it as well so this will be a place for me to share. Lastly, I have been busy building up a big family with my wife, and we have a total of 4 children! Life with the children can be quite hectic and we have to do repetitive teachings to the kids as they need them to understand and create their own lives in this world.
My target audience in this blog is mainly the multinational companies in different industries who need help in building digital presence of their brands so as to create and maximise their revenue.
